Christmas Lights Bingo

One of my favorite family Christmas traditions that I look forward to each year is looking at Christmas lights. When Jon and I dated, we would go to Starbucks for a peppermint hot cocoa, drive to our favorite neighborhoods, and look at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas tunes about twice a week. It’s funny to think about how much fun we’d have getting lost in the ‘burbs! I love that we can now share the experience with Lo.

No matter how simple or extravagant the display, Lo loves it all. There’s something just so special about Christmas through a child’s perspective. The magic, wonder, and joy at the simplest things reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas.

This year, Lo has begun to really enjoy playing board games, going on scavenger hunts, and coming up with road trip games, so I thought it would be fun to create our own Christmas Bingo to play while we look at Christmas lights this year. I also thought it would be fun to share them with you! Just click on the link below to print out your own game cards.

You can have your littles color the pictures in advance for a fun afternoon of crafting, and then save them to use later. You can also laminate them or insert them in a plastic sleeve, so they can be reused throughout the holiday season. I love these Crayola’s Dry-Erase Markers (affiliate link) for this Write and Wipe Pocket. I’ve tried other dry-erase markers and they’re harder to remove and stain the pocket.

If you download the game cards to play, please tag me (@coralbunnyandlo) on Instagram and use #coralbunnyandlo. I would love to see how you use them! What’s one of your favorite family Christmas traditions?
