- Denim, linen, or canvas for handles: fat quarter/quarter yard
- Kraft-tex, leather, or vinyl for exterior pocket and handle accent: sheet of 8½”x11”
- 10” zipper or longer
- Charm pack or 40 5” squares
- Accent fabric for binding: ¼ yard or 1 ¾ yards of double fold binding
- Accent fabric for ties: quarter yard or 2 ½ yards of ¾” or 1” wide twill tape
- Fabric for lining: 5/8 yard
- Fabric for welt pocket: fat quarter
- Bosal 58” wide: 1 yard/36”
- SF101 interfacing 20” wide: 2.5 yards, more if using fabric for accent pieces
